… we welcome a household name . .
Mary Nightingale is one of the best known faces on UK TV news.
Currently co-presenting ITV’s 6.30 News and The News at Ten, Mary has a wealth of television and journalistic experience.
The recipient of a number of awards for her work, Mary enjoys the admiration of both the general public and fellow professionals. She is also well known for her work in support of a number of charities. It is therefore with great pleasure that Dartmouth Caring can announce that Mary has accepted the role as its Patron.
Dee Nutt expressed her delight at Mary’s acceptance, stating that with her well-established local and family connections, Mary was ideally placed to understand the necessary work that the charity performs for the vulnerable members of our community, both young and old.
It is particularly heart-warming that someone with Mary’s substantial workload has accepted this role; we are grateful for her support and extend a warm welcome.
