Great volunteers

Great clients

Great staff

Great community

Dartmouth Caring in the last week has made over 300 phone calls to vulnerable members of our community, completed nearly 100 shopping and prescription deliveries, made and delivered over 200 meals and arranged delivery of 25 food parcels generously donated by the Rotary Club of Dartmouth.

We have been so impressed with the huge efforts made by the community and the wonderful response of all our new and more established volunteers.  Their willingness, flexibility, creativity, and understanding has been exceptional.  Thank you!

The meals on wheels service has been going from strength to strength with output increased, and now every day of the week.  Sally and Joan lead their merry band volunteers to make sure the elderly and most vulnerable are well supported.  Great news this week is that thanks to the Dartmouth Food Festival Trustees we are able to deliver more meals to those in financial hardship.

Andie Day our Palliative and Cancer Care nurse has been providing essential support to those clients most at risk from the virus during, what for them, is a particularly worrying time.

If anyone is seeking support in the villages and is struggling to find information please do call or email, we have our own volunteers in each of the villages but also direct links with; Kingswear, Dittisham, Stoke Fleming, Blackawton, Strete and Slapton, where their communities have risen to the challenge.
