MEMORY CAFE

The café is a friendly and informal meeting place for people with memory problems and their families, where you can gain support,

information and advice from volunteers and health professionals.

It will provide an excellent opportunity to meet others, exchange experiences, and to discuss your concerns.

Just come along and, in a relaxed atmosphere, meet our volunteers and professionals, have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. There will also be a variety of activities for you to enjoy if you wish.

Held on the second Tuesday in every month. Dates for 2011 are: 10 January;

14 February; 13 March; 10 April; 15 May; 12 June; 10 July; 14 August;

11 September; 9 October; 13 November;

11 December.

Located at Townstal Community Hall, Davis Road, Dartmouth TQ6 9LJ

10.30am - 12.30pm.

SEATED EXERCISE CLASSES

For all of those in need of a bit of strength and tone without having to be on your feet.

VIP CLUB - Visually Impaired Reading Group

For all those with visual impairment to still enjoy the pleasure of books through the added benefits of talking books, large print plus lots more in conjunction with Dartmouth Library,

An enjoyable afternoon every month also with general discussion and tea and biscuits.

Usually held on the first Wednesday of the month, dates for 2011 are 5 January; 2 February; 1 March; 5 April; 3 May; 7 June; 5 July; 2 August;

6 September; 4 October; 1 November;

6 December.

Located at Dartmouth Library

2pm - 4pm.

PARKINSON'S CAFE

Started in 2011, for all those with Parkinson's, their family, friends and carer's. An informative and social afternoon every month also with general discussion, guest speakers and tea and biscuits. Meet others, exchange experiences, and discuss your concerns.

Usually held on the third Thursday of the month, dates for 2012 are

19 January; 16 February; 15 March;

19 April; 17 May; 21 June; 19 July;

16 August; 20 September; 18 October;

15 November; 20 December.
